For the Spring Term, St. Giles' will be celebrating everything about books and reading. This includes the inaugural Book Buzz Awards. The children have voted on their chosen titles, the points have been counted and the shortlist selected; the chosen books will be announced at our launch event at 3pm on Monday 7th January.

Multiple copies of the titles will be bought (and we have already reserved the titles with our local libraries). To run alongside the reading of the books, we would love to organise other events with a view to inspiring children to become life-long readers. Such events could include illustrator workshops, storytellers, song-writing workshops, author visits, poetry-writing and making comic books. But all of this comes at a cost...

As a result, we have set up a crowd-funding website to kindly ask for your donations towards St Giles' Book Buzz. We would be so grateful if you feel able to donate anything between £1 and £20; all donations will go towards the Book Buzz books and activities.
