Story
The wonderful stained glass window that fills the east wall of St Mary's Harrington, is progressively buckling, and if urgent action is not taken, the window could be lost in a storm. This beautiful stained glass brings such light and life to the weekly worship in the church and has been a magnificant backdrop to many tens of thousands of christenings, weddings and funerals over the last hundred years and more.

The work will cost over £60,000 including essential repairs to the stonework around the window. The cost of maintaining the architectural heritage entrusted to us is a lot for the faithful congregation to bear. We have managed to raise a little over £20,000 but we are looking for the generosity of people who care about our historic buildings to help us bridge the gap.
This fundraising is on behalf of the Parochial Church Council who will ensure that all the funds raised will be spent on repairing the East Window and associated stonework.
We cannot thank you enough for your generosity
