Story

Hello everyone, thank you in advance for reading my story. My name is Stacey, and i'm a teacher in the staffordshire area. I've always wanted to be a mum since being a little girl but fully understood that being in a same sex relationship would make things more difficult. 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with MS, which put a huge spaner in the works as I struggled to come to terms with the condition and what the future may hold. It's taken this long to put my big girl pants on and accept that I may face challenges along the way, but nothing that I can't deal with or adapt to moving forward. I have so much love, guidance, and support to offer, and it would be a dream come true to start my own family.

I have worked incredible hard over the years to save for IVF treatment, but with the cost of living and other expenses, it's been difficult, to say the least. I still continue to try and save/make money to add to the pot, but with some support, I could get there a lot quicker. I'm very conscious that my time is rapidly running out at nearly 37 years old, and my mum always said to me, "If you don't ask, you don't get it." So this is me asking for any support you are willing to give. I will be forever grateful, and who knows, this time next year I could be having a baby!

In life, sometimes we take things for granted, we think it's simple to just get pregnant and have a baby but this is my reality. I have already paid for many tests and the cost for IVF with donor sperm and medication is £11,000 down to me having a low ovarian reserve most probably due to my age and the autoimmune medication I have been on for the MS.

If there is anyone out there willing to help I will be forever greatful ❤️
