In Loving Memory of Stanley Solomons

Stan Solomons spent a lifetime in teaching and educating children and young people. We know that he has made a positive impact on many lives and he understood the value of play in education and child development.

Stan passed away peacefully on 2 August 2023 at Coppice Lodge Care Home. One of the last events he was able to attend with his daughter Rachael was an intergenerational play event run by Gedling Play Forum at Coppice Lodge. Stan and the other residents took great pleasure in the activities and the company of the children and young people.

Stan's family feels that it is fitting to invite donations to the Gedling Play Forum in lieu of flowers. Thank you.
