Gemma is a 39 year old mum of 2 young children. Diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma aka the terminator in 2019 . Tumour is very rare & inoperable so standard treatment hasn’t been as effective as we’d hoped. 18 months into a 12 month prognosis due to trial drugs & alternative protocols which cost in excess of £5k monthly.

2 years ago I ran from Middlesbrough to London over 7 days. Gemma supported me during this run and was there with me on day 1 for the first 10 miles. So I have decided to run the first day off the London run, Middlesbrough to Malton approx 42 miles to raise money to help Gemma with the monthly costs for her treatment.
