Stepping stones across the Spectrum was set up by Karen and Vinny Ryan who have 3 children - all now adults on the autistic spectrum. One thing that is apparent is that as soon as someone turns 16 services that are in abundance for kids on the Spectrum including social opportunities often start to disappear. Our aim is to offer opportunities to adults on the Spectrum.
We have already set up 3 social hubs in different areas and have paid for a regular radio slot so adults have the chance to host a show, interview people, be interviewed and play their own music or discuss their interests.
Mark and Ged want to help the organisation to continue, to offer on going opportunities. 13 miles is a long walk - but they are committed to it!
