Story

Steve was a healthy 38 year old man, pretty normal in every way, well apart from the fact he was what we would call an addict of the NFL and Fantasy NFL! He co hosted a fantasy football podcast called The Kickers Matter Fantasy Football Podcast with good friends Jamie and Jack. Every week they would do a podcast talking all things fantasy football and giving advice to all the people who listened.......if there were any! Steve was the football purest of the 3 and pretty much knew everything that could be known! He spent a huge amount of time talking about it all on twitter and that's where Jack & Jamie first got to know Steve.

The cover picture for this page was taken on October 13th 2019 at Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium where Steve took his son to his 1st ever NFL game and we bet that this will be something that he never ever forgets.

Steve passed away on Saturday 9th of November this year after an unbelievably short and unexpected battle with liver cancer. This was a huge shock to everyone as he had only been diagnosed about 2 weeks earlier, Devastated doesn't even come close to how his friends and family feel.

Steve left behind a loving wife Victoria and an 8 year old son and their lives have been turned upside down with all that has happened.

Since Saturday when the news of Steve's passing was known, the fantasy football community on twitter has been sending their thoughts and prayers to Victoria and their son, and has come together like a family, remembering Steve for the great man he was and an all around nice guy.

We want to raise some money for Victoria to show her how much Steve was respected and loved by the fantasy football community. The money will be given to Victoria in honour of Steve for her to use in whatever way she feels most appropriate.
