On 5th October Steve Chaplin suddenly and unexpectedly passed away whilst in Intensive Care at the Royal Derby Hospital.

The care he received during his short time there was nothing short of fantastic. The dignity they ensured he had and the compassion and care they showed to the family will never be forgotten.

As a result, instead of the traditional flowers given we would like to raise money to give something back to the Intensive Care Unit and the team.

Steve fought with every ounce of energy and spirit he could and our hope is that money raised can be used in the treatment of other patients to help them fight and ultimately recover from their illness.

Anything you can spare however big or small will be hugely appreciated by both our family and the Intensive Care Unit.
