Stirling County The Cricket Club, open to the whole community around Stirling, runs a number of senior teams as well as a thriving junior section. We own the ground and all of the services that we need to use so costs are challenging. Electricity is our only power source and it's costing us five figures per annum so we decided to investigate Solar Energy.

We were very fortunate and grateful to receive an 80% grant from the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) but we still have to fund the remaining 20% amounting to nearly £8,000. We really need the support of our suppliers, members, organisations that utilise our facilities and the local community, to help with this project. It will help to ensure that the Cricket Club remains a viable club for the community as a whole.
