The Strand Children's Chess Club is a new children's chess club that is running out of the Strand Arts Centre in Belfast. Our aim is to promote, develop and coach children's chess so that every child has the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy this great game in a fun and safe environment. We teach our children through a structured curriculum that enables them to not only improve as players but also to develop important life skills such as long term planning, decision making, problem solving and focus.

This fund raising campaign is aimed at raising money to cover the initial start up and running costs of the club.
