We love being outdoors and for a long time now we have dreamed of an outdoor space that we could use, whatever the weather or time of year. A flexible space that we could use for many different purposes…including sheltering from the rain!

We would love a space big enough to use for outdoor learning, like an outdoor classroom. Somewhere we can relax and play and chat with friends at break and lunch time, but also somewhere we can do art, write stories and poetry looking at the beautiful view.

Somewhere we can practice our instruments and have music tuition. A calm space to read. An outdoor space for presentations and drama and singing. For story telling and so much more. For open afternoons and visitors to enjoy.

We are looking at structures similar to the one in the picture to put in the school grounds at the back on the hill with a little path up from the playground. This will make the most of the views and leave our other outdoor spaces clear for other purposes.

We are doing a sponsored walk in June and are also looking to apply for grants and other ways to help us raise the funds. We have lots of ideas!! We would also welcome any donations from local businesses.
