Hello,

My name is Jo and i am looking for help to give my company a home, and create a safe environment for women to express and create.

Just over a year ago I started a heels dance class once a week for women, to help boost confidence in myself and others, this class started with 5 students and was the beginning of something truly special. I poured my passion and love into creating an environment for women to make friends, feel seen, rediscover themselves, help boost body positivity and a platform for women to support, encourage and celebrate each other. I now run 6-8 classes a week and am surrounded by over 40 incredible women, I have run 6 shows in the last year with most being sell outs, and have the most beautiful privilege of watching these women find themselves in class and on stage.

I currently rent different studios to host my classes and they have been amazing, but I have an incredible vision to have a Strut base and make it a safe, inspiring place for women to get together, create and support our community. I have found a venue for us to rent, but to get started need a large sum to secure the unit and make it safe to dance, with correct flooring.The plan for Strut at this venue is so exciting, and will be able to bring other creatives to the space to offer further classes that provide therapy through movement.

At Strut Productions, we are passionate about empowering women to express themselves through dance. We create a safe and exclusive environment where every woman can explore her artistry and unleash her inner confidence. Our mission is to inspire, uplift, and elevate all women, regardless of their background, shape, size, or ability. We believe that beauty comes in all forms, and our mission is to celebrate it through the power of dance.
