Story
The story :
10 years ago Dental Hygienists and Therapists were allowed to prescribe and use the medicines that we needed to treat our patients.Through a legislational change this was taken away from us.We have had to ask our dentist colleagues to prescribe our medicines for our patients and this is difficult at times.
The UK department of health has given us permission to apply for our prescribing rights once more and we need to fund the research and development for our case submission - which is due in 18 months.
