Story

Our dear friends of nearly 30 years are going through every parents worst nightmare as just over two years ago their son Harry who at just 3 years old was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
In the months and years since the diagnosis Harry has undergone intensive chemotherapy, blood tests, injections, steroids, lumber punctures, plus many many other medications and procedures.
This boy is a superhero and his parents, big sister and little brother are truly inspirational.
Following on from the intensive chemo, he is currently undergoing 2 years and 8 months of maintenance which includes daily oral chemo, weekly oral chemo, antibiotics, weekly port access and blood tests, clinic visits, consultant appointments, general anaesthetic and lumber punctures with chemo.
As you can imagine, their family time with all of them together is very limited and is constantly disrupted.
We would like very much to send these five special people to make some happy memories in Disneyland Paris but we need your support.
We will be doing a Superhero walk on Saturday 9th September from the William Harvey hospital in Ashford to the Swan and Dog pub in Great Chart, signifying the journey this family are making on a regular basis.
It is a distance of roughly 5.5 miles and there will be big group of families taking part, but the more, the merrier!
If you could possibly spare some money, no matter how much, it would be appreciated immensely and would go towards making wonderful memories for a very special little boy
