Story
Late on Monday 22nd May 2017 an explosion in the foyer of the Manchester Arena killed 22 people and seriously injured many more. The blast occurred as concert-goers, many of them children and young people, were leaving a performance by the US singer Ariana Grande.
There are fund raisers already going to support the victims but what about our fantastic emergency services, hospitals, and after care teams that are working around the clock with pride.
We would like to raise as much money as possible to support these people in any way we can, we want to split the funds raised between our 3 main services, Fire, Police and NHS.
Our key aim is to donate to the following:-
* 8 hospitals A&E departments that took in the injured to help fund essential equipment they have been struggling to buy on their tight budgets , to ensure the level of care is at its highest for victims and general patients.
*Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue. To help fund essential equipment that the service need but budgets restrict.
*Greater Manchester Police. To help fund training or extra staff that government budgets restrict.
Without these fantastic services where would we be, casualties could be higher, fatalities could be higher and the safety of us the everyday person could be more at risk from evil doings.
So please help us by showing our support for these essential services and the caring, thoughtless people that work for them on our behalf by giving a small donation today.
Lets do them proud.
