Alister was a much-loved member of the GMFRS family and served the communities of Greater Manchester for more than 27 years. He was based at Cheadle Community Fire Station on Green Watch and over the years also worked at Moss Side, Stockport, Stretford and Altrincham fire stations. Our thoughts remain with Alister’s partner, children, and all his family and friends at this terribly sad time.

It has been politely asked that flowers not be sent to the family home at this time. Any money raised from the support of this fundraiser will be put towards funeral costs and taking care of his young family in the immediate future.
