I'm raising £1000 to support the activities of the Traffic Action Group A262 for Goudhurst, Sissinghurst & Biddenden

Originally founded in the village of Goudhurst, TAG A262 emerged as a response to the need to address safety concerns caused by large lorries navigating sharp bends near the church. Despite initial challenges in persuading Kent County Council to heed their concerns, the campaign has evolved into a collaborative effort encompassing three parishes along the A262. By uniting as three communities, we exert greater pressure on authorities to prioritize safety and address the impacts of increased traffic on our villages.
Our primary objective is to empower communities through various actions, including speed monitoring, advocacy for lower speed limits, documenting incidents, and engaging with local authorities to implement highway improvements. We also advocate for enhanced bus services to improve accessibility and safety for all residents, especially those with differing abilities.
