In May 1997, Trowbridge Town Football Club departed our beloved Frome Road stadium, and with it, the County Town of Wiltshire lost it's only Floodlight football ground. Whilst the club reformed in 1999, playing at Woodmarsh on the edge of the town, and has gone on to have great success at Step 7 of the English Non-League Football Pyramid, lack of floodlights prevents us from progressing any further.

On May 15th 2024, Wiltshire County Council approved the club's application for 8 Floodlight Pylons and new dugouts. This is an enormous project for a club of our size, which relies on sponsors and matchday income to compete. None of our volunteers, players or coaches are paid - they help, play and manage for the love of the game.

Running parallel to this, the club is undertaking an additional project to install drainage across all pitches at our Woodmarsh site, to help us with increasing rainfall which has affected our pitches for a number of years.

We need to raise £65,000 by the end of July 2024 in order to bring floodlit football back to Wiltshire's County Town for the first time in 27 years. This is one of several fundraising avenue's that we are working towards. Sports Lighting, the UK's leading sports lighting and installation company, are ready to complete the project and everything is in place to see this through - but we need YOUR help towards this project.

Now, more than ever - we call on supporters of 'The Bees', locals, football supporters across the country and the world, and anybody that wants to help us, to donate what you can, so that we can achieve our dream of playing Step 6 football again, whilst providing our youth sections and generations to come with both ample opportunity and proper facilities to be proud of.
