Story

Hi, a group of Men from The Lighthouse Church in Formby (near Liverpool), UK believe that everyone should have access to an education and as such support a charity that runs a school in Southeast India since 2006 for children from aged 3 up to 16 to empower them to have a hope and a future. Without this school, it is very likely these children would grow up without access to an education and limited tools and life skills to be empowered them to change their lives.

The charity's running costs is c. £25,000 per year and this school year the school will teach 163 children and young people free of charge to the students. The school not only educates their students but also offers meals for their students where a rigid class system can often isolate and marginalise them for no other reason than the class system they were borne into.

To help support this wonderful charity and make a change we thought the best way to raise money was to jump on the band wagon of 'Movember' and either grow Moustaches, or change our current beards different colours throughout the month. Either way, both will be embarrassing/ create a talking point!

Our aim is to raise £1500 towards the running costs of this amazing charity and hope that you will join us on this journey towards the end date of Saturday 2nd December where we will have charity bring and buy sale (at Lighthouse Church, Formby - 1pm - 4pm), to raise money for the same cause.
