Here is the path as of 16 January, after the Town Council removed the white paint. The vandalism is gone, but the path underneath is tired, dirty and wearing through to the pavement. Lets get it restored to its former glory, and in a way that ensures it will be easy to clean, and last for years to come.

UPDATE - Taunton Town Council have declared the damage to the pathway an emergency, due to it being an eyesore and potentially an environmental hazard. This morning a contractor came and removed the white paint. This was done with the full knowledge and understanding of Taunton Pride. Our fundraiser is unaffected as it will go to a full refresh of the pathway with better quality paint that will have more longevity, be brighter and easier to clean. We may also contribute to the cost of a CCTV camera. Thank you to all who have donated!
