Story
Back on the 23rd December 2014 our world came crashing down when at just 25 weeks and 1 day, our twins decided to make an early arrival. Sadly we lost our eldest boy Cole, shortly after birth and Taylor's fight had just begun.
Taylor spent a total of 107 days in NICU UHCW (with a short stay in Leicester Royal) where we were overwhelmed by the extra personal touches our nurses and doctors gave to us during this time, especially during the Christmas period. Taylor had a stocking with presents, we had a Christmas card and Santa even came to visit.
Our boys weighed just 785 grams and it was with thanks to all the doctors, nurses, specialists and consultants that Taylor, who will be 2 this year, survived a very stormy battle in the neonatal unit in Coventry Hospital
We want to help Coventry neonatal unit to fill approximately 40 Christmas stockings again this year and help bring a smile (even if it's just for a second) to parents going through this extremely emotional journey.
This year Taylor is taking part in a Santa run by being pushed around (and carried up and down steps .... twice!!) in his running buggy
Please sponsor Taylor in his Santa dash to help raise funds for a cause which is extremely close to our hearts.
