Story

From Terina's Mum, Chris Jordan

My beautiful daughter Terina, has been taken far too soon by this awful disease. The scary thing being nobody in our family, (blood line) as far as I have gone back has ever had. I can’t actually write the word.

Terina was an absolutely amazing Mummy to her two children, Alfie and Willow. These two were her world and she loved them both so very much and always protected them to the highest level possible. Alfie and Willow have lost their Mummy and their best friend and protector. Terina was such a funny, sweet young lady, right up to her final hours she kept her cheeky personality and her beautiful smile, teasing her family members and in-laws and making us all smile. Giving us memories we will treasure always and forever. We have lost our precious daughter, sister, and more importantly Mummy and the best friend anyone could have wished for, and Ash has lost the love of his life.

A few days before the angels took my daughter, she asked my partner, her (step) dad if he could book the holiday we’ve been talking about for such a long time, and that we had planned to do as soon as Terina was able. A trip to Disney Land in Florida. She so wanted Alfie and Willow to experience the magic as Terina did with her brother Declan, and sister Alicia when they were children.

Terina fought the hardest battle with her life, and every obstacle possible hit her on her long, painful journey. That said, her legacy, thoughts and mission were to spread the word as much as she possibly could about the younger generation of women and men to check their body’s regularly and I would like to continue with my daughters’ legacy. This disease is cruel and heartless and as we found out doesn’t care who it affects. A beautiful young Mummy who had absolutely everything to live for taken. It’s a cruel, cruel world we live in.

Different people have approached me and our family saying they would like to donate to Terina’s children, Terina’s cousin Jon, has decided to set up a page for Alfie and Willow. On behalf of my grandchildren, Alfie and Willow I send out a heartfelt thank you for all your kind donations, love and support you’ve been giving and continue to give to my precious grandchildren, myself and family.
