ALL EXTRA MONEY RAISED WILL GO TO AN FND CHARITY TO HELP OTHERS:
TJ is 27 years old. Sadly, after two stints in hospital, she is now officially disabled due to a neurological issue. She recently started getting paralysis of one arm and had a spine operation to fix this. Fast forward a few months later and things took a turn for the worst. She is unable to walk without help and her left arm is completely paralysed.
She was finally diagnosed with FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) which means her brain pathways are confused. The NHS have started her recovery which includes psychotherapy, physio, counselling and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). However, as FND is only partly funded by the NHS, Tess will have to go private for most of the above.
So a group of tess' friends, including Tattenhoe Ladies Football Club, are climbing Ben Nevis in April to raise money to put towards Tess' recovery.
Tess was recently proposed to and is due to be married in June 2025. She wants to walk unaided down the aisle, which we hope with the money we raise will be possible. Any donation, however small, is greatly appreciated!
Any extra money raised will be donated to an FND charity to help others facing the same issue.
