Story
In the heart of Cape Town, thousands of children die every year due to poverty increases. The difference between the poor and rich is astounding.
There is a brilliant charity called the Backpackers Organisation that works very closely with the children in the orphanage, providing them with shelter, food, warmth, love and care.
Without the support of the organisation these children would be homeless and in the worst possible poverty, with no parents to keep them from the dangers of Cape Town.
With the support of this fundraising The Backpackers (me included) will be able to give the children warm baths, warm food, fresh drinks, clothing and a warm and safe place to sleep. Additionally, there is a lot of mental and physical support, such as medication and therapy etc.
In July 2017, 27 young adults are going to City Bowl, Cape Town to help with this organisation. We are travelling to successfully build homes for those who can't afford them, allowing them shelter and warmth. We are also going to teach people about being aware of the dangers of Cape Town, not only violence but also the illness that occur. Raising this money would allow us to fund the appropriate medicines that are required as well as give them support in getting better.
You're donations could alone save thousands of lives with the support from The BackPackers Organisation.
