Barrow to Gibraltar banger rally

We are planning to drive from Barrow to Gibraltar in a £1000 banger in aid of our local hospice and Air Ambulance, our route will take us the length of the UK through France, Spain before arriving in Gibraltar 7 days later. From our coast to the southern coast of Europe. (what could possibly go wrong)

We planned to do a rally in 2019 to celebrate Roy leaving the army after 22yrs service but unfortunately Covid hit and our trip was cancelled, our car was purchased but nowhere to go. Happy news now though as our trusty blue Volvo has had a major transformation into 'Ecto 1' and we are ready to go as 'The Coast Thrusters'. We will also be supporting Blind Veterans a charity close to our hearts with both of being ex Military.
