Story
The Future Initiative was set up to support young people in Cumbria.
Homelessness, domestic abuse and low confidence are real problems being experienced by our young people in our area and we cannot turn a blind eye. The Future Initiative are services coming together to work holistically ensuring young people know what help is available for them.
Both myself (Laura Godbold) and Jade Docherty will be taking part in challenges I will be completing a 24 hour sponsored silence and Jade will be completing a bush tucker trial Sunday 30th Oct. Along with Adam Godbold and Jason Thompson having a leg wax (ouch!)
All funds raised are to be split between DePaul (charity supporting homelessness) Laurus (to develop domestic abuse training to be delivered in local schools) and the Arbonne charitable foundation (supporting young people experiencing low confidence.)
You can also enter a raffle for some fab prizes including beauty vouchers, first aid course, jewellery and an original painting. £1.00 per strip please comment raffle in donation.
