Story
We are The Crimson Wave and we work with homeless charities and women in greater Manchester and the city centre, in order to provide the necessary sanitary items these ladies need in order to have a dignified and comfortable time during their periods.
We will be running events throughout the year; with the first set for 11th Feb at Touchstones in Rochdale, where people can come along to donate or spend time putting the packs together.
We are asking for monetary donations to help purchase supplies for these events such as; tampons, sanitary pads, panty liners, feminine wipes, sanitary bags and chocolates, all of which are used in the period packs we create and go straight to the homeless women of Manchester and Greater Manchester.
In the purpose of full disclosure, some of these funds may also go to promoting the events, but this will be minimal amounts subsidised by ourselves.
To get involved in other ways find us on Twitter @crimsonwaveorg, Instagram @thecrimsonwaveorg and Facebook/thecrimsonwaveorg. We'll keep you posted with all the packs we donate and our upcoming events.

7 years agoWe've now reached our target and couldn't be more grateful for your support. We've done a lot in 6 months, thanks to all the physical donations we've had and the time that so many people have given up to helping us put together our Period Packs! This money will only go to further help combat Period Poverty in Manchester and further afield. We're now looking see how much we can raise beyond the £1000 target, so please keep your amazing donations coming - and we'll keep you posted with upcoming events and donation spots!
