Story

Hi, I'm Sian, back in 2016 our young people had their skatepark demolished by the council. This was after they had their indoor skatepark also close down.

These skateparks help keep our young people fit, healthy and focused and some of them went on to become paid, professional riders.

The impact this park has on bettering our young people's mental and physical health is huge, we must continue to support our young people in positive engagements

Our seaside was left with nothing...from an iconic skatepark known accross the world to nothing.

We fought long and hard to get this park re-built, the council agreed 250k to rebuild and in 2020 when it was finally rebuilt we went into lock down and the council closed the park.

Our young community never got to have their official opening and celebration, so we are (4 years later) hoping to deliver a day of scooter events for all age groups and abilities and a day to enjoy the park we all so love

We will need help with things like
Onsite medic staff
Portoloos
Prizes/trophies
Power Source/generator

Your donations will go towards these requirements and we wish to to invite any helpers on board

This is a free event for our youth no registration fee required
