I have recently started volunteering for this charity, and this charity could help a lot of people you know: have you ever been sent a solicitors letter calling you to court for whatever reason? child arrangements, welfare benefits, divorce etc. and realised you can't or someone you know can't afford legal representation? well thats what this charity does, we're based in some courts around the country, and you can speak to us and we will help you, support you and even sit in the court room with you if you're on your own. we don't give out legal advice, we're just a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on, we can help you understand the procedure you are going through, help you understand the decision you were given, help you prepare statements etc. and its all free. However, it is charity ran, there is no government funding. A new centre has opened up recently in Chester, and i have been asked to raise a few pounds to help us get up and running.
