I've raised £3000 to aid conservation and animal welfare efforts in Zambia!

The Wild Ride is a conservation and animal welfare orientated cycling adventure through the heart of one of the most breath-taking countries on the African continent. The Wild Ride was born out of a passion for conservation, animal welfare and adventure and hopes to prove that we can make a huge difference despite living over 12,000 kilometres away!
We have chosen to press on with the Wild Ride even though COVID-19 is still among us out of necessity. The negative impact COVID has had on conservation throughout the world has been massive and the organisations we are fundraising for have had face it head on. As funding for conservation has all but dried up through reduced donations and no money from tourism, the threat of poaching has only increased.
Ride or no ride, conservationists in Zambia NEED our help. So please do not be disheartened by the uncertainty surrounding our trip because at the end of the day this is much bigger than us and we all need to pull together to raise as much money as possible!

Throughout the ride we will be visiting a number of conservation centres, independent veterinarians and animal enthusiasts who have dedicated their lives to the care of animals of all shapes and sizes.
We have set the goal of raising £500 per rider, every penny raised will go directly to our chosen charities and will be divided appropriately closer to the time!
Here is a list of the organisations we will be visiting, please note that some of the independent vets/animal welfare workers do not have pages or websites for me to link to so they aren’t included in this list.
