Kris and myself are finally getting married! Just a steady 22 years of being engaged. Rather than a big fancy wedding we are keeping it small and we have decided to host a Grieve and Grow Retreat in both Scotland and in Nottingham. We hope to raise enough money to host the retreat’s in aid of the Miracle Foundation. They offer counselling to children who have suffered the loss of a parent or carer and so much more. So rather than buying us a wedding gift or treating us to a drink on the day, we are asking you to please donate here and together we can help support as many people as possible on their grief journey.

I’d like also to mention and more importantly say a huge thank you to Anne Priscilla Bridal in Glasgow who heard that I wasn’t going to a have a wedding dress so she very kindly gifted myself and my bridesmaids the most beautiful dresses to make our day extra special. I can’t thank her enough for this gift. We appreciate all of your donations no matter how small. It all goes towards a great cause. It’s an amazing gift for us to have money raised in Lola’s name and it will also allow her legacy to live on. All money raised will be put to great use and will benefit those that need it the most.
