I Never do this, ask for financial help for she shelter, however after this Morning, I really need a bit of help from fellow animal people. This Morning I went to pick up a beautiful cat from a disabled man who called me in distress unable to cope and unable to look after a little cat. I thought I’d help by taking her in, assessinv her and i would then find her loving home. The smell when I arrived at his flat was something out of a horror movie. The cat, locked in a dark room was meowing and literally jumped on me when I put my arms out. I had already noticed in photos he sent that the collar was stuck around her right leg and positioned strangely. At the flat when I tried to move it, I noticed it had been like that for a very long time due to the rubs and sores on her neck. It was only when I got her back home, excited to relieve her misery and un buckle the collar that the full hideousness of the situation unfolded. My amazing work experience team took a look as I lifted her leg up and recalled in horror, the collar was so tight and stuck it had cut deep into her leg and had gone through the muscle and onto the bone. I called my vet, they saw me straight away, every vet and nurse in the practise came to have a look, no one had seen anything like it. I am now left with the vets bill, and she needs a major operation tomorrow to sew her muscles back together. If you could find it in your heart to donate £5 towards her vets bill I would be so grateful, I fund everything myself, doing animal encounters to keep the shelter running so this has completely wiped me (although I always find a way!) if you could help id be so grateful. I will keep everyone updated over the next few days, you will be able to see where your £5 has gone towards. Her names Blip this is probably hers (and my) big blip but she’s a soul so she’s worth it!
