Since the first book in 2017 we have given over £100,000 to Birmingham Children's Hospital and over £250,000 in total for various other charities and people in need.

The 4th book and 3rd edition of They Wore the Shirt - Old Gold and Black comes out later this year and my payment as author will go all to BCHS plus any other associated fundraising.

It is all in honour of my dad John Plant who we lost in 2012 and now my mother Joan who we lost last year. All proceeds from this latest book will go to BCHS.
