Weʼre raising £1,200 to to Help with the monthly running cost of Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre during the Corona virus Pandemic Closure
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Unfortunately we did not reach our target amount last month (April)
We are still closed to the public here at the centre to help stop the spread of this horrible virus which in turn has stopped all income to the centre.
We had only been open for 20 days this season after coming out of a very hard winter. We have lost potential income from all our planned school and coach visits so far and have lost the income we possibly made during the Easter Half Term holidays and the May Bank Holidays.
The staff have all made significant personal sacrifices as our priority is to maintain the high standards of care we always give our birds at our centre.
Your donation will be very gratefully received and 100% will be used to go towards the running cost of keeping the collection going through this Pandemic.
We know these are uncertain times but any donation, big or small will directly help our feathered friends.
£5 buys 10 Large Mice for Owls
£10 buys 6 Large Rats for Large owls, Vultures, Hawks
£15 buys A fish for the Sea Eagles
£20 buys A box of Quail for the Falcons
