Tinkerland Nursery School is a wonderful early development school in Concordia, a partly informal settlement near Knysna in South Africa. We have been providing a safe, healthy, fun environment with the right nutrition and good quality education for children aged 6 months to 6 years, for the past 2 years. We have some children whose parents can afford the small monthly fee and some who cannot. We have realised that due to life circumstances many parents put their early childhood education at the bottom of their list of priorities. We believe that these first developmental years are crucial because everything they see, hear and are being taught has an impact on how the child will live his/her life.

We currently have 38 children ranging from ages 6 months to 6 years. We are renting a house for our premises but unfortunately we are being evicted as the owner needs the space back.

We have found a property where we'd like to build our new school, so we are trying to raise money for building materials. Please help us save our school where we can help even more children, developing them in all the right ways and keeping them safe while their parents are at work!

There are so many things these children lack. Please help Tinkerland Nursery School to be home to all of them!
