I've raised £500 to Tommy & Friends CVS Charity Walk.

Tommy and his friends, Ollie, Amia & Elijah, along with Tommy's brother Louie, and Amia's brother Lennox, are walking on Sunday 13th October from Chilton Village Hall to Ladygrove Pub in aid of raising money for CVS (cyclic vomiting syndrome).
The walk will take over 2 hours to complete and is a little over 5 miles.
Tommy was just 3 years old in January 2021 when he started becoming unwell with vomiting episodes. After many episodes, hospital admissions, IV fluids, tests and much more he was finally diagnosed in 2024.
CVS affects roughly 3 in 100,000 children.
Cyclical vomiting syndrome is a rare condition that causes severe episodes of feeling sick (nausea) and being sick (vomiting). Each episode can last anything from a couple of hours to several days, and can be triggered by extreme weathers, tiredness, excitement, certain foods, viruses and allergies.
This condition controls lives and families.
We are hoping to raise as much as possible to help research into this small but important cause.
It is worth mentioning due to CVSA UK being such a small charity, they do not hold an account with Just giving. Therefore money will be transferred after the event.
