Totstars was formed in 2009 and with the aim to give ALL children an opportunity to engage in sport from a very young age! We believe that sport is vital for childrens development, both educationally and socially. We also strongly believe that sport can play an integral part in building relationships within communities and therefore change lives for the better. A few months ago we looked at our aims and on one we were happy with what we have acheived thus far but also felt that we had only scratched the surface of our vision. So when we were approached by Camilla from Sals Shoes to help launch the AHCA in South Africa we jumped at the opportunity! The AHCA (Andreas Harrison Coaching Association) was founded after the death of Andreas Harrison who was a well loved and respected Learning Mentor and PE Coordinator. Andreas believed in giving the kids in his care access and opportunities to experiences and skills they may never have otherwise been exposed to. Andreas' commitment and dedication especially in working with less privileged kids in the UK led to an admirable coaching career. Tragically his life was cut short.

To continue his legacy in teaching kids his family have set up this charity in South Africa.

Your donations will help Coach Thuli to support this charity as it launches in October 2017.

Coach Thuli will be visiting South Africa alongside Sals Shoes and coaching less fortunate and underprivileged children in a variety of sports. Our aim is to provide the children in this community the same sporting opportunity that our Totstars benefit from.

Coach Thuli & the Totstars Team will be holding regular events to raise money. We have already begun planning and you can expect to see Coach Thuli playing a football match BARE FOOT (something that some children experience every day in South Africa) and much much more! 😊
