Story

5 Ladies from Brackley are taking part in the Two Ball Rally in July to raise funds for the Lighthouse Charity that specialise in providing Mental Health Support to Construction workers. The rally comprises of a car worth less then £562 and competing in challenges every day and during the rally. The rally starts in St Omar in France and travels through Germany, Austria, Italy and back in to France finishing in Nice which is appx 1,324 miles from start to finish!

We are not ashamed to say that our mechanical knowledge is very limited and but through the support and help of others we can find our way around the car and make sure it is roadworthy, even if it is old and without all the mod cons. Part of the fun of the rally is trying to anticpate what car issues we may have whilst navigating to our check in points.

The lighthouse charity has provided key support to people to help them when they needed them the most and are an important resources to Construction workers and their families. You can follo the Link to Lighthouse Charity to see all of the excellent work that they do, or to find the support that you need. One of team members has worked in construction for over 20 years and has seen the effects of mental illness on those in the industry and their family and friends.

Any donation you can make to support this wonderful charity would be amazing. We will also set up a facebook page so you can follow our antics as we depart the UK to commence our journey to France.
