I've raised £1500 to Help for victims of Typhoon Odette in Dalaguete, Cebu, Philippines

Hi everyone, my name is Wendy and I’m looking to help raise some funds to support the Dalaguete community in Cebu Philippines, recently hit by a category 4 typhoon. As many of you may know I am very proud of my Filipino roots and I want to try to help as much as possible.
Many of my family members live in and around the surrounding areas of Dalaguete and the rest of the Visayan islands. Areas worst hit by the typhoon. Huge amounts of damage caused by Odette/Rai have devastated the community where people have lost their homes, livelihoods, animals and more.
If you could consider making any donation, however much you can spare, I would be forever grateful. All money will go to the community in Dalaguete to help rebuild and repair the damage caused by Odette. Money raised will help towards food, water and materials for shelter for the people who have lost almost everything.
Many, many thanks for any help x

On Thursday 16th December the Philippines was hit by Super Typhoon Odette (Rai). It is the 15th storm to hit the country this year and is the strongest storm of 2021.
Odette first made landfall at 1:30 p.m. local time on Siargao Island in southeastern Philippines. A catastrophic direct hit from the category 5 typhoon has left the Island in ruin.
Making landfall a further eight times, the seventh was my hometown of Cebu. Communications, electricity and water are all down and we have been unable to contact our family.
The true extent of the damage is still unclear but we are continually searching for snippets of information through social media channels as we wait for news from relatives.
Although the current situation is bleak, there are ways which which we can try and help.
