We are a team of medical professionals from the Emergency Department of UHNM, and we are taking on the challenge of walking The Three peaks in 24 hours, to raise as much money as possible so that improvements can be made to our department, that will improve our patient’s experience.

Just as the press covers in the news, patients are spending a significant amount of time in our department, many of which are elderly patients. Some of which are spending a significant amount of time waiting for a bed on a ward; due to extreme pressures of the hospital. By raising money we could potentially improve the department by installing T.V’s in cubicles or improving the waiting room seating area, which would make our patients time in the department more comfortable and bearable.

As healthcare professionals, our patients are at the heart of what we do on a daily basis, to be able to improve our A&E department by improving our patient’s experience would be incredible.
