I've raised £1000 to Support the Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity and the Defence Medical Welfare Service

This summer, Devon University Royal Naval Unit (URNUD) will be hiking the South West Coast Path from Land’s End to Plymouth covering 150 miles over 10 days. We will be raising money for the Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) and for the Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS). This will be to give back to the wider Armed Forces community, and support those that need it most.
The RNRMC is the principal charity of the Royal Navy, and exists to support sailors, marines and their families, for life. They support individuals at whatever stage of life they need, deliver sporting opportunities, focus on improving the qualtiy of life of the serving community, and provide immediate assistance to those at the end of life. https://www.rnrmc.org.uk/about-us
The DMWS is an independent charity providing medical welfare (physical and mental health support) to those who have, and continue to, operate on the frontline. They act to support patients, their immediate family as well as to their primary care givers and healthcare professionals, and support is tailored to the individual. https://dmws.org.uk/our-service/what-we-do/
All funds raised will be split equally between the two charities.
