Mary worked as a helper in Mombasa and lived with her husband and children struggling to make a difference in their lives. She one day got a call that her husband who had gone missing, was found in Eldoret and had passed away from AIDs. Mary was diagnosed with HIV and she was encoaurged to go to her mother and brother's home in Bungoma for support and caring which she did. She passed away soon after leaving three young children orphaned.

The elder son was born from another man who agreed to take his son in his home. The two younger children are torn between two homes of their aunt and uncle and are very unhappy, destitute and over worked with house work. Deprivation and favoritism between the cousins and them, they are sometimes mistreated also.

As a family we have tried to assist as much as we could but we are now retired and cannot afford to assist. Besides the aunt and uncle have continously asked for money and not utilised for the children.

Boarding school admission and yearly fees may make a huge difference in the lives of these children. Just £200 will cover the fees for school.
