As a lot of you will know Vinny went in for a spinal operation in December last year, unfortunately due to a number of complications it didn't go to plan. Vinny has now been left with life changing injuries and is currently paralysed from the neck down. At this time, he is in Derriford hospital undergoing more surgery and once the medical team are happy and Vinny is in a stable condition, he will be transferred to a specialist unit in Salisbury where he will continue his recovery.

Unfortunately, due to the severity of his injuries he’s going to be in hospital for a minimum of six month depending on his progress. We would like to help and support Vinny by raising as much money as possible, first of all we would like to get him some Bluetooth headphones and a tablet to enable him to watch Tv, pod casts, listen to music and audio books, as there is only so much Hospital Tv and radio you can take.

Additionally, funds will go to support Vinny’s recovery and his wife Carol as this will have a significant impact on their lives and the changes they will need to take when Vinny gets home.
