Quality living for Christian Elderly who sincerely love the Lord but who cannot realistically afford to live comfortably for the rest of their days. Today's economic climate is way past the expectations or anticipation of many of our Senior Christian Citizens as a result they have to settle for accommodation that may take care of basic needs but does not encompass their Christian needs daily. As a result they are living out the rest of their days below the standard what God intended.
Psalm 35v27 Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore. "Great is the Lord, who delights in the welfare of his servant!"
Some of them, like my father have to resort to care homes that are run by people who do not believe in the same God as he does, and therefore are unable to Minister to his Christian needs. I see this project as an essential one to fill the gap in the community which is constantly widening. Our poor, or working class, or uneducated elderly Christians are vulnerable and left open to being steered away from their faith to accept whatever society says that they should have towards the end of their days. It may be already too late for my father.

building the retirement home (Planning permission, Builder's fees, Decorator's fees)
Furnishings
Food supplies
Sanitary supplies
staffing - (Ministry support)
For the Ministry to research and gain further valuable support for the project.
Is it enough for our Christian elderly to be housed in an environment that supports their physical needs, and not deal with their spiritual needs? I believe not. The Vine Ministry UK Eden project aims to provide a balance between luxury living and quality living for our Christian Elderly.
