We're a fantastic junior grassroots football team in Telford that aim to help young people to develop their confidence, stay healthy and build friendships through football. As a club formed in the heart of the Telford area we also want our team to support our local community and give something back to those who live in the town we play in. That's why on Sunday, Aug 4th for our Summer fundraiser this year Wrekin Juniors Lions U9s is not only raising funds for equipment and kit, we're also giving a proportion of the funds we raise to the Children's Ward at the Princess Royal Hospital, in Telford.

We'll be swapping our football boots for walking boots and walking 1,998 meters (as Wrekin Juniors was formed in 1998) from the Princess Royal Hospital to AJ's Kitchen in Wellington whilst also picking up litter. We're looking for kind donations from the local community to help our efforts.
