I have created the just giving page to help raise money to cover the cost of winter training for our Junior Football Team 'Walshaw Panthers U9s.' The 8 boys have been challenged to walk up and down Mt Snowdon in September as part of their training, it would be great for team building, an achievement for 8 year olds and create a memory that will last forever. Winter training is costly and availability is unreliable due to the great British weather. The aim is to raise money to pay for the cost of training on an outdoor 3G pitch and indoor sports hall. It would have been easier to run a race night or have a party to raise money but the challenge is equally important as the funds raised. The boys have been together for 3 years and are really progressing as players, team mates and friends. The walk will be a great way to cement this progress and continue their development. My son plays for the team and I love him and all the boys on the team, I really care about their social, physical, technical and psychological development. Our walk up Mt Snowdon ticks all the boxes, it's not just a fundraiser it's an adventure and path to their future.
