Hi guys Ive set up this funding page to raise some money to buy gifts for the children who are in Sunderland hospital ward f65 at Christmas. As some of you know my son has spent a lot of time here and other hospitals especially over Christmas . I can remember when Alfie was very sick in intensive care at Christmas . I can remember being worried sick and gutted my baby's first Christmas was spent in an induced coma. When I got to his bedside on Christmas morning i found a stocking with lots of little gifts in. The nurses had decorated his little bed and he also had cards from different people. Whilst some might think that's nothing it meant the world to Alfie's dad and me. Even though Alfie was in an induced coma at the time it uplifted our mood and made us grateful that we were all still together on a speacial day . We also received a little bag of gifts which included chocolates and cream again it meant so much to us .

What I want to do is give that same feeling to many other families who are unfortunate enough to spend such an amazing time of year in hospitals with their children . Even though Alfie was in the RVI at Christmas hes also spent a lot of time on ward F65 the babies ward at sunderland . The nurses work long hours and are amazing at what they do. Whenever we've stayed they always give us 100% dedication and get you whatever you need . Alfie's always been unwell at this time of year and this year he's doing great so I'd love to give back to the ward in supporting our community.

I'd like to raise enough to buy the children a stocking with some little gift in as well as some chocolates for the parents and nurses. Being in hospital on Christmas Day can really get you down your confined to a room , your babies sick , some are away from their other children and partners , some havnt had time to finish their Christmas shopping and are worried sick about their children.
