What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

Story

No-one wants a future without elephants and rhinos but we are rapidly heading that way - help us to prevent this to ensure that our and future generations can look forward to a WILD TOMORROW.

Wild Tomorrow Fund's Wild Heroes are raising funds to provide supplies and equipment to reserve managers, anti-poaching units and ecologists on the ground in KwaZulu Natal in South Africa via Wild Tomorrow Fund.

These vital supplies are helping in the war against poaching, habitat loss and human/wildlife conflict.

Wild Tomorrow Fund is based in New York and South Africa and liaises directly with reserves in KZN through their ecologists to discover what is needed and then organises the supply.
Here is their website: https://www.wildtomorrowfund.org

Wild Tomorrow Fund's Wild Heroes are based in the UK and we encourage people worldwide to fund raise for this important cause.
Individuals and groups can hold cake sales, coffee mornings, sponsored walks, runs and swims etc etc and donate the funds raised via this Just Giving page. Please join us and become a WILD HERO!

Thank you to all who attended and supported the sponsored walk at Saltram Estate on Sunday, the total raised by donations and sponsors was £197 - well done to everyone. The money raised from our recent events now stands at £370 which will purchase a VHF collar for an African Wild Dog. The collar will enable monitors to keep track of the dog to ensure its safety and that of the whole pack. Recent events have been talks about the work of Wild Tomorrow Fund, a sponsored walk at Saltram and collections of small change from friends and family.

I volunteer regularly in KZN, South Africa monitoring endangered species such as elephants, lions, rhino and African wild dogs and have seen first hand the work that goes into keeping these animals safe from poachers. I also fund-raise for Wild Tomorrow Fund's Wild Heroes.
