Willingdon Community School needs your support to build an all-weather, multi-use games area for our school and the wider community!

There are many benefits to our current location, however like any British school we are often at the mercy of the weather! While our students- and our staff- never shy away from a muddy football pitch, we want to offer our students and the community the very best sporting facilities in order to harness their skills and fuel their sporting ambition. A MUGA (multi-use games area) is resilient to weather conditions, versatile, and inclusive to most sports, making it a valuable investment for our school community.

Sport and physical education have the potential to astronomically improve student wellbeing. While the MUGA would offer our future sportspeople the provisions to be the very best, it would also be central to engaging those students who do not normally participate in extra-curricular sporting activities. It will be a place for every student to engage with outdoor activity and experience the physical and mental benefits that these bring.

We really hope the facility could be used by our wider community to support sport and fitness in the local area.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to sponsor a “wellbeing square” for our students. Each square is a valuable addition to our community, providing a versatile and safe space for people of all abilities to engage in physical activities and promote a healthy lifestyle.

With your continued support, the MUGA would transform our sporting provision, allowing for extra-curricular sporting opportunities, an extension of our PE curriculum to make full use of this new space, and the potential for the community to use this incredible new area. Help us make our sporting dream into a reality!

We would like to thank you for all your support.

All the best,

Willingdon Community School
