You may have heard of Danny Jones, a young man in the prime of his life who suffered a Cardiac Arrest on a field playing rugby, or Footballer Fabrice Muamba who also suffered a Cardiac Arrest and who's heart stopped for 78 Minutes
Both of these events were unexpected and whilst Fabrice was lucky enough to survive Danny Jones died as do many more each year. This cannot be stopped but we can do everything possible by having a Defibrillator on the sidelines at our training sessions and Community games which will aid our players with the urgent assistance should they ever need it
We are fundraising today for 2 Defibrillators, one for our youngest players the Cubs and one for our 2nd youngest team the U7 Newbies
A single Defibrillator costs almost £1000, whilst 2 brand new machines would be great we need to be realistic and understand that this is a lot of money and are looking to purchase 2 refurbished machines if we can reach our target of £1000.00, anything more than this and we would like to target buying 2 new machines if possible
